Stuffed Artichokes Recipe

1️⃣ Prepare the artichokes
Cut off the stem and the top 1 inch of each artichoke.
Remove tough outer leaves.
Use scissors to trim the sharp tips of the leaves.
Slightly open the leaves with your hands.
Rub with lemon juice to prevent browning.
2️⃣ Make the stuffing
In a bowl, mix:
Breadcrumbs
Parmesan cheese
Garlic
Parsley
Salt & pepper
Italian seasoning
Add some olive oil slowly and mix until the texture looks like wet sand.
3️⃣ Stuff the artichokes
Gently spread the leaves open.
Spoon the stuffing mixture between the leaves and on top.
Press lightly so it stays inside.
4️⃣ Prepare for cooking
Place stuffed artichokes in a baking dish.
Add potatoes around them (optional).
Pour 1 cup water and drizzle olive oil on top.
5️⃣ Cook
Oven method:
Cover with foil.
Bake at 375°F (190°C) for about 1 hour to 1 hour 20 minutes until tender.
OR stovetop method:
Place in a deep pot with water.
Cover and simmer for about 45–60 minutes.
🍽️ How to eat:
Pull off leaves and scrape the soft stuffing with your teeth.
