“I woke my boyfriend and he didn’t believe me till he went and looked himself. We are both clueless as to how it got there. My boyfriend rang the RSPCA and they were shocked as it’s not very common for snakes to be found in toilets in the UK.
“They came and tried to get it out but its stomach was too big to pull out. She used a hook and as she tried to pull it out it slithered back down the toilet into the pipe. I couldn’t go to work as I’ve had to wait for it to return and may need a plumber to check the pipes.
“We are still very hesitant when going to the bathroom and are having to check the loo constantly.”
